About the event
Join us at the Plaza on September 14th for the event that started the movement: the annual Stomp the Stigma Resource Rally & Recovery March. Every year, we work to change the stigma around mental health struggles, substance use disorder, and recovery by sharing experiences, memories, resources, and hope.
There are three parts to this event:
1. Resource Rally | 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Held on the first floor of the Plaza, the Resource Rally will feature dozens of resource booths from various mental health and recovery organizations. We will also be selling Stomp the Stigma merchandise to fundraise for future events and endeavors.
2. Recovery March | 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
As a group, we will march from the Plaza to tunnel and back holding posters and signs with positive messages, reminders, and encouragement as well as "Gone But Not Forgotten" memorials of loved ones we have lost.
3. Speakers | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Lastly, we will wrap up the afternoon with messages of hope from various speakers sharing their stories of struggle and resiliency.
This event is completely free to attend, though we are grateful for any donations you can make to help the cause. Please note that, while there is no minimum age limit for attendees, the featured speeches may contain sensitive subject matter and parental discretion is advised.
We can't wait to see you all there!
